Welcome to Bob Snyder's Nature Photography website.

My interests are in macro photography, including flowers and insects, bird photography and landscape photography. I make images with the Nikon D200 and D70s digital SLR cameras outfitted with Nikon and Tamron lenses.

The Macro Flower Photography album and Bird Photography album showcase my favorite flower and bird images. Check out the Insect Photography album for some of the various insects that inhabit my backyard gardens.

I've just added an album showcasing some of the slides from my introductory talk to birds entitled "Birds of Bald Eagle State Park". All photos were either taken in the park, in Howard Boro, or in the surrounding countryside of Centre County, PA.

Checkout the photos of a male Pileated Woodpecker that was attracted to my dying birch tree for a meal of overwintering ants!!.

A female Ruby-throated Hummingbird is showcased in the "Hummingbirds Album".

For those who wish to view photos of the Bald Eagles that nested at Bald Eagle State Park, PA in 2007, click on the album entitled "Bald Eagles at Bald Eagle State Park" !

The images of the Caspian Tern album were made at Curtin Wetlands on April 14, 2007. The Fox Sparrow and Song Sparrow album contains images these birds when they visited my feeder areas after the snowstorm of March 16, 2007.

An American Bittern was captured by my image sensor at Bald Eagle State Park, checkout that album for late evening images.

A new category, "Landscapes" is under construction and will grow as I add more images this fall.

Please look over any or all albums and if you have any questions or comments about the Images you may contact me via email at bobsnyderphotog@embarqmail.com

or by phone, (814) 625-9122 .

The "Digi-scoped Birds" album displays birds I have captured afield while birding, and the album "Millbrook Marsh, State College, PA" is dedicated to seasonal images from the marsh, and is under construction. If you are interested in learning more about local birding opportunities, I encourage you to check out the State College Bird Club web site at www.scbirdcl.org

or you may attend one of the monthly meetings.
